What's new

2 soldiers martyred, 4 injured in North Waziristan blast

Those facilitators are called PTM

True

I dont know why it's difficult to make one locally...
It's either the sector commanders are corrupt or their higher ups either way someone needs to knock some sense in these stupid idiots to buy some apc Pakistan is losing too many trained soldiers at a rapid rate if these murders are not stopped there would be no benefit off saying that we are a battle hardened army all hardwork gone to waste

i was gonna add to this on post by @Taimoor Khan .
If you review the record of ttp attacks in last two years you will notice all most of the attacks were infiltration attempts or launched from across the border, bcause that's where TTP exists and have safe haven. They have small elements present in Qila saifullah, thanks to ANP strong hold, they have managed to stay off the radar.

coming down to HuA, they operate as small teams, embedded in our cities, villages , rural areas, urban areas. Unlike TTP they use support network of PTM to move in the area, stay protected and carryout these attacks. They carryout surveillance and recon on military unit in the area using ptm stooges.

above mentioned areas by yourself are actually strong holds of PTM leadership and it is only in this area hua and ttp have been able to pull off major attacks, a coincidence or a coordinated efforts by PTM goons?
Counter-Insurgency is dirty. You've got to deal with an enemy who can blend in and is mostly unseen until he shows up unwanted and outta nowhere. There is collateral damage - hue and cry - local support. IMO PTM guys dont seem to be the militant type, but locals w/o any such political affiliation can be involved.

Isn'nt ANP targetted by likes of TTP?
ptm helped to bridge that. don't forget ano used ttp as it's henchman back in the days...
at pdf level we have the circumstantial evidence of this that how ANP-PTM- HuA/ ttp have a working relationship... individuals are identified with complete profiles built on them

i would say the to you what i i ha said above...

So when will ws be able to give our men our so called own armored vehicle hamza instead of hilux or lives of jawans are not worthy of those vehicles?

If you're correct then it's top brass' responsibility for unearthing such links. The locals and army have to join hands and get rid of these deep pockets.

Came a day after both COAS and ISI chief were telling Kabul regime to keep a check on NDS-RAW terrorist activities in Pakistan.

Yeh kuttay ke dum hay, kabhi seedhi naheen ho ge.

Peace process aside, this NDS-RAW terror nexus needs to be uproot with military intervention in Afghanistan rather quickly, since there is a strong chance that we might get sucked into the situation building in Laddakh between China and India.
COAS or isi chief bacha hain, worst chief of army staff after kyani. IK na is ko extension da ker mulk or qoum dono ka saath ziati ki ha. Shame on them both. Aj tak India or Afghanistan ko un ki zubaan main jawab he na da saka.

Figure for dead is four now.
Sir, should our army also consider procuring some of these EDA stuff for CI purposes, since we are already using max pro so further induction won't be much of a problem as one would guess we already have the support infrastructure. I am saying this because its dirt cheap.

... But then, you've got to be inconspicuous while doing CI stuff..... MRAP will be visible from far away

Very difficult to defend against IEDs as they can be radio controlled, proximity controlled , even light controlled. A determined opponent can use hard wired IEDs, which will be jam proof. Biggest issue with ieds is that they can be easily camouflaged to look like everyday items.
And mines are another type of ieds. Mostly pressure activated.
Best option is heavily armoured personnel carriers. Travel is slow , gas guzzlers but atleast the soldiers are safe. Ofcourse for searching rough dwellings, the soldiers have to disembark, and then the risk profile increases.

inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon
If RAW is behind than take out their soldiers too in their land
You are correct, Pakistan can't afford this war of attrition.
Previously, we were fighting with TTP, now since we are comfortable there, we need not to continue wasting our soldiers and capital in regional disputes, either we take charge and get rid of regional foes, or we ask Imran Khan about progress on his proposed talks.

Covert operations are needed against these Barbarians, PTM or whoever it is needs to be eliminated, TTP sleeper cells have been reactivated.

IBO in Mir Ali - 2 T commanders killed, further details unknown.

Unfortunately a Captain and OR from 20 Baloch have laid down their lives.

Apparently the troops were targetted in Dossali - the IBO separately took place in Mir Ali.
