That cannot happen. Their prosperity depend in being involved with the world.There is a point after which, incompetence overseas will come back to bite US ( it has happened in past ) and their allies would desert them irrespective of how many Aircraft carriers they have.

I'd like to see the next president let other countries (Europe...) take care of the worlds problems. I'd like to see the U.S. close most of our overseas bases, letting those countries spend THEIR OWN MONEY to defend themselves and get off the U.S. dole. I'd like to see the U.S. quit the U.N. and toss the cowards out of New York. But.....will NEVER happen !!
