Good move, but here's something I read -

"However, Cricinfo has learnt that the captain, Salman Butt, and the coach, Waqar Younis, were not consulted on Yousuf's inclusion and they were only informed about the reinforcements after the Trent Bridge defeat."

I am sure they would have said okay if asked but why is the protocol never followed by the PCB?
