Most of the technologies were already in development stages back then. The first Tab to become popular was the GRiDPad which was released in late 80s

I remember being given a demo of online banking by what is now Bank of America back around 1994 too. (which at the time I thought sounded useless/stupid...I was so wrong)

As shown in the commercial two way interactive cable allows for Video on Demand.
Allows you to pause, fast forward, and even reverse movies on the fly (just like Youtube).
