That logic doesn't work here since both india and Pakistan signed ceasefire after which the war ended

Nothing like that happened when PAF bombed IoK and shot down IAF mig 21. Instead India was threatening to fire cruise missiles on Pakistan

PN didn't have missile boats or any missiles whatsoever. That's the thing. The only counter Pakistan had to these missile boats was bombing them from the air. But this couldn't be done at night/ would be too risky.

You know the whole fleet is going out,you have the perfect opportunity so sink a lot of their ships,but there's no official declaration of war,you don't know if they will attack and you don't know how the leadership in Pakistan will react. This is the exact dilemma that makes a submarine operation special. This is not the first time such dilemma happened. Just google about soviet navy incident during Cuban crisis where there was a discussion to launch nuclear attack on USA by a soviet sub.

These subs during operations or circumstances are disconnected from communication from superiors. They can't see or know what's happening above.

It's just here the leadership of submarine commander and his team comes into play.
