Nicely put with a pinch of Sarcasm. Its a wonderful country with wonderful people and lots of heritage. I have been there 8-10 times (Tehran, Eshfahan, Mashad, Shiraz). I once drove with one of my Iranian friend from Tehran to Eshfahan and on the way we went to Khom and saw the places where major historical events took place.
