Shenzhen is more standard Mandarin than Beijing LMAO, because 99% are immigrants who must speak standard Mandarin to understand each other while Beijing dialect has lots of slang.

Whatapp can only prove you know how to speak Chinese at a rudimentary level, it can't prove your claimed cultural authority. Only demonstration of knowledge can and we are definitely seeing a demonstration of your 'knowledge' here.

Although Shenzhen is a city in Guangdong Province, Shenzhen people speak Mandarin rather than Cantonese.

Because 99.9% of Shenzhen people are immigrants. Shenzhen was originally just a small village with only 3000 locals. Shenzhen now has a population of 20 million.

I live in Hong Kong as my primary resident. I can travel you know? This is not soviet union, you are free to travel anytime you want, in fact, I went back to the US multiple time between 2 to 16, so??

I go where my dad and my mom go. And when my dad went back to South America, I went with him. That does not mean I never came back lol.
