Wow!!! Do you really mean that shit? Do you even realize how badly it reflects on you as a human-being when you make conspiracy theories out of a truly spectacular genocide that our region has seen recently?

I mean, forget the regional politics, forget that it was in Indian Kashmir, forget that the victims were Hindus for a moment... You have no empathy at all for genocidal victims?? Just for the sake of a fellow human-being if not for anything else???

Given the way people of other faiths/beliefs are treated in Pakistan (Hindus, Christians, Ahmadis, Shias), I guess some extremist Pakistanis would wonder why killing/driving-out/converting Kasmiri Pandits is such a big deal. After all, that is what happens in their country all the time. If anything, the Kashmiri Pandits got a very good deal - of converting to the one true faith, in the view of these extremists.

Outrage is selective for such persons - only when people of their faith are at the receiving end, and the perpetrator is from another community. Everything else is propaganda. Which is why Gaza is a tragedy, but Yazidis being killed in Iraq is Western propaganda to malign the true faith. There is outrage on the street and massive demonstrations when Burma treats its minorities harshly, but nary a peep when Boko Haram kidnaps/enslaves/converts 300+ schoolgirls. Expecting their kind to have any empathy, we might as well be expecting a rock to bleed.

Killing/raping/plundering KP's was not such a big deal at all. It wasn't the first time, and unfortunately it will not be the last time we will see such an ethnic cleansing on a 'genocidal' scale!

But I hold the Indian agencies, the state and central governments, media and society by-and-large responsible for letting fellow-Indians go through it all by themselves!!!

I mean what the hell was Central Government doing when hundreds of KPs were getting dragged out of their homes and shot in the face or women getting raped? How could we have let this happen?

These are kind of events that shake the very belief in your own nationhood when the 'nation' can't collectively protect your most vulnerable group of people!!!
