Wrong, it was pm begging the US to do something. Pakistan already won militarily and made it impossible for indian troops to reoccupy the liberated areas.

It seems the definition of "military victory" is different in Pakistan. Occupying empty posts and then running away from those posts when faced with artillery fire and air strikes might qualify for "military victory" there. The more such victories you have, the better it is for us.
