A self-inflicted strategic blunder by the PAF.
By now, Pakistan would've been rolling out the J-10s in Pakistan in the dozens per year and not created an unnecessary blackhole in the PAF inventory by chasing the one and the only fabled F-16 invention known to PAF.
It demonstrates PAF's inability to adapt to an aircraft other than that's American.
If Pakistan had agreed to have J10A/B , we would have had 36 Units in 2014 and then a follow up order in 2016 For 36 More units to have nice healthy 70+ J10 Fleet
But Pakistani planners figured they will get similar output from JF17 Block III by 2019 and decided to halt a J10 push
In way we can't disagree with how Pakistani Airforce planned was done limited budget can only improve a platform we already have knowledge about
