14th August 2016: What Pakistani Celebrities Are Up To?

I totally disagree with you about Molvies, if they had run the country we would not be in this mess and Kashmir, Siachen, water disputes would all be solved by now. We would have eternal peace with Hindustan, Afganastan and reconciliation with Bangladesh.

They can't do worser than hypocrites who have given us the name, ''Pakistani would sell his mother for a $1000''. The thieves who loot the country to fill their off-shore accounts. They wouldn't make the country a laughing stock of the World and allow killing of their own citizens because foreigners throw dog a bone and set us back 16 years (civil war). Neither would foreigners choose our ginerals like Rahil Sharif chosen by Amerika.

Neither would they play lip-service to the suffering of the Kashmirs in IOK. You said you're in Islamabad, go and speak to some retired gineral that you really know and ask him about Pakistan policy towards IOK. I know and I don't let it fool me.

The fasad that is created is controlled from the echelons of power. There is a ''ISIS'' molvi in Lal masjid, do you think he can operate of his own choosing? Someone as educated as yourself would believe that. People go missing all the time and you think he can do what he does. He's a tool and so many others to get money from Christendom. ''If you don't support us, they'll be in power''. Whorish mentality.

If our people warn the dangers of qadiyanism then this should be applauded for saving the masses from the blazing fire whose fuel is men and stones. I agree there are some like Jamat Islami totu who are on the gorment payroll and are good for nothing.

There is no country in the world where molvies run a country. Give them a chance all our problems will be solved at the press of a button; IOK, Saichen, water disputes and eternal peace.

Stop this trend of putting Pakistani flag or name on lower body or back its disrespectful
Flags or name of country should be only on upper body

Ok guys. Calm down and let sanity prevail.

We are all (well mostly) Muslims here and believe in Oneness of Lord Almighty and believe in Muhammad (SAW) being the last of the Prophets of Allah (ST).

We are at varying degrees of Taqwa and that is primarily because of the different environments (home, school, friends, etc) in which we have grown up. Our views change as we gain experiences in life and acquire more knowledge. The key is to continue seeking Allah's guidance, self study what our Lord expects from us, the source of which are the Quran and Sunnah.

The best of the people in terms of practicing Muslims, amongst us, as I've witnessed, are those who weren't born and raised in an ultra-conservative environment, but were those who belonged to the "middle path". On the other hand, many of those who were born and raised in an ultra-conservative environment or ultra-liberal environment turned out to be fanatics / extremists / mentally misbalanced and devoid of moral and ethical values.

I've traveled across Pakistan and across the world and I've seen Islam being practiced in true spirit in places where one can least expect. We should never discount or write-off anyone, because it is the Lord who gives Hedayat (guidance) and Can give guidance to anyone HE chooses. We should never generalise. I've seen god-fearing individuals amongst our politicians, our police, our bureaucracy, judiciary and showbiz; and at the same time seen munafiqs (hypocrites) among apparently religious-looking individuals. In cities like Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad, where on one hand you can see rave parties and liquor shops; on the other hand you can also see one of the best Islamic education institutions of the region and one of the highest-zakat paying group of philanthropists of the world. You can see bearded and non-bearded men AND dupatta-less and with-scarf ladies, together - watching Jason Bourne at the Cineplex, or shopping at any of the several malls or enjoying with their families at any of the several parks in any of these major cities of Pakistan. We are a diverse society, with cultural diversity and with a people, having diverse views. We all need to learn to accept this diversity. Agree to disagree.

I personally know Muftis (Islamic scholars) who I believe possess one of the most liberal mindsets and at the same time I know apparently western-looking individuals (clean shaven / jeans T-shirt attire) with one of the most radical and fanatical mindsets. Some of the top university students caught recently by our Intelligence Agencies of having ties with Daesh and affiliate organisations, is a testimony to this.

The term Moulvi has been grossly misused and thrashed during the past few decades. People like Fazlur Rehman (politician), TTP terrorists and some other political opportunists who hide behind religious facade, have tarnished the image of the "Moulvi". The original Moulvi - the academician, the scholar and the spiritual guide is still out there, but we, as a people, have lost contact with that Moulvi. Those few amongst us who are still connected with that Moulvi, are indeed the lucky ones.

So, my dear friends, please stop using (rather mis-using) the term moulvi. Stop branding every clean shaven person as an infidel and stop profiling niqab-wearing ladies and bearded men as fundamentalists.

As a nation, WE have always seen ourselves UNITED as one, in times of disaster, calamity and emergency. Be it earthquake, war or floods. WE have ALWAYS forgotten these petty differences - bearded / non-beaded, caprice / burka, sunni / shia, deobandi / barelvi..... heck, in time of need, WE as a nation don't even consider whether we are Muslims or christian or hindu.... WE have ALWAYS stood as ONE.

Trust me when I say, there are good solid reasons for all of us PAKISTANIs to have HOPE, to have FAITH and to BELIEVE of a better and prosperous PAKISTAN.

ALLAHU AKBAR - PAKISTAN ZINDABAD

On a lighter but honest note, anyone who considers Fazlur Rehman, Samiul Haq or any one of the bearded politicians as Moulvi, needs to get his head checked. These bearded men are equivalent of prostitutes. Maybe even worse. Atleast prostitutes don't hide what they really are.
