14 including seven FC personnel martyred in Ormara attack

This is not going to make any difference. The real issue is the network itself. Even if u bring in tank they will find a way to destroy them.

We need to destroy the infrastructure and support base of these terror networks. This is the only way forward.

They are getting weapons from somewhere. They are getting money. They have communication channels.

Last but not the least the most important part is the people of Pakistan. We need unity among us. These terrorists are receiving support from some of the local elements.

Exactly thats me point.

Any insider , why a sudden increase in terrorist attacks ? This clearly seems an intelligence failure.

A friend of mine recently visited waziristan with local friend. He talked to the local people and to my surprise they have a lot of hatred towards Pakistan army as well as TTP.

There is lot of anger among them due to destruction of the area. Although they love the country by heart but they blame Pak amry first to bring taliban into waziristan in 90s and then to destroy there homes during the fight.

May Allah bring unity to us.

US and Nato managed to significantly reduce casualty levels mainly bcz they employed MRAPS and armored vehicles. Here we have some rag tag nobody with not even 1% of ammunition and resources available to Taliban. We cant keep sacrificing lives of our soldier on an off chance that traitors of our land will grown an conscience or die. There will always be people ready to sell themselves to the enemy so we should make this long term investment in MRAP which can also be used in times of war for protection of infantry on the front lines. This investment is crucial bcz every time soldiers die at the hands of these Indian financed rodents morale of people and force takes a plunge. It take only a couple of them to ambush teen dabba vehicles provided to our soldiers. ATmost these people have access to RPG, IEDs and guns which is why MRAPs are crucial as they are designed for it.

Poverty is blamed every time behind these attack but Surkhas and Libtards sitting in defense and bahira housing societies show that you don't need to be poor to be traitor.

But start them by providing MRAPS. Set boots on the ground across the border. Send in SF for Covert Ops and pound them from the air. Cut the root. Don't know why they are afraid of ANA.
None of the above. MRAPs will take time for deployment at large scale and you are again putting lives at stake with other comments of yours.

Would have expected you to come up with something more destructive yet not risky, like a UCAV attack. The shoot first, ask questions later theme. India sends Pakistan forged proofs, Pakistan dismisses them. Pakistan can strike first and find proofs later. Forget Iran and Afghanistan. Think about why i said that. Next, the policy should be to strike across the LOC at IA positions (cluster of bunkers/HQ/depots/artillery/bridges/convoys etc) with 3 x Barq fired from Burraq at every incident which occurs in Pakistan. Missile arsenal is there, if MRAPs are not. At least use that inventory. This will directly escalate the situation between India and Pakistan. India will want to strike back in some way, whether across LOC or step up attacks inside Baluchistan/KPK. If India does retaliate, Pakistan strikes three times of that, again. If India attacks at 3 places, Pakistan responds by attacking at 9 positions. In the meantime, keep collecting information and proofs of Indian involvement. Is this going to start a war between India and Pakistan ? Yes it can, but isn't Pakistan fighting a war already. Just shifting the front from inside Pakistan to International border, taking the war where it belongs.

For the first time, a religious and secular terrorist group has jointly claimed responsibility. This is very alarming for us. Clearly India behind this attack. They will get an answer soon in their own language.

Do u know what is war all about ? War is about capability of attrition and resources. Its all about who can sustain the conflict in long term.

So by investing a few hundred thousands on RPGs u have to invest millions on MRAP means they will dry your resources which can be used for lethal weapons against our much bigger enemy.

What are the chances that TTP and BLA will not get anti tank guided missiles after introduction of MRAP? When we have already seen them used by Taliban in Afghanistan.

TTP has much more smooth funding than Afghani taliban. They have support from raw and mossad.

They focus should be on killing the head of the snake and not for the interim solution. I do not have access to finances of armed forces but if i have a limited budget i will spend it on cutting the supply line and destroying the infrastructure of the enemy...

Fencing the border, cross border cladestine operations, uplifting the economic and logistic connectivity of the people of the mainland, education and health facilities are the one which are going to this war otherwise we will keep on investing in one platform and another for one battle to another without any logical end to the war.

I feel for the soldiers and life we lost and the are important but we will keep on loosing if we dont take down the castle of militancy. So our limited resources should be focus on the ultimate objectives.

Enemy wants our attention to be diverted. Do u think its just a coincidence that when NS is openly bashing army and isi at the same moment there is a rise in attack specially on civilian targets like convoy of OGDC?

This is all linked to create an uprising which we cant afford.

We have to take calculated moves.

Unity is our best weapon.

My brothers your life is not important for this country its politicians may Allah grant you Jannah and Sabar to your family.

A Pakistan Army soldier embraced martyrdom and three others were injured in a terrorist attack on their patrolling team in a remote area of Balochistan’s Turbat on Saturday, military said.

“Terrorists fire raid on security forces’ patrolling party near Jhaki post – 35km South East of Turbat.

During exchange of fire, Lance Naik Waseem Ullah embraced Shahadat while three soldiers got injured,” Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing said in a statement.

The attack comes two days after seven soldiers and as many security guards were martyred while fighting off a terrorist attack on a convoy of the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) in Balochistan.

The same day six army troops were martyred in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

The attack on the OGDCL convoy took place on the Coastal Highway, near Ormara, the ISPR had said. Whereas six troops, including an officer, were martyred in an IED blast in North Waziristan tribal district the same day, it added.
The IED blast hit a convoy of the security forces in the Razmak area of North Waziristan.

No disrespect but it's time for a change. we need a prime minister who can take actions. Imran Khan only talks. One more soldier martyred today. This cost is too high. Recently indian satellite which gathers intelligence passed over turbat. First I thought that they are Baloch fighters. Now I am thinking about other scenarios. Why indian satellite passed over turbat yesterday? Are there presence of Indian special units in balochistan? Have they landed on our beaches or Iran has allowed them to infiltrate? I have doubts. We must do something now. Time is running out.

One would think the higher ups would have enough sense to provide drone coverage and do what the Turks and Azeris are doing to Armenia and elsewhere to these Baloch separatists day in and night out and droning their asses to Janum.

Pakistan needs a pact with the groups in the restive regions. Something similar to what the Indian state has with the groups in the eastern sector. As compared to the 60s till the 90s , we have next to zero casualties their now. They do complain now and then but since the local government is elected by the citizens, the complaints don't carry much weight.
Also the war should be against poverty. Once Pakistan manages a decent living standard, the incentive to pick up the gun drastically reduces.
East Indians have migrated in droves to our metros for decent jobs in the last few decades and with a good educational background and command of english, their understanding of mainland culture and vice versa has improved.
Totalitarian societies like Singapore, south korea and even China (different case , trouble ahead) , have managed their citizens well due to economic growth.

I created a thread a few days back to summarise some reasonable steps that we can discuss on this forum regarding this:

One would think the higher ups would have enough sense to provide drone coverage and do what the Turks and Azeris are doing to Armenia and elsewhere to these Baloch separatists day in and night out and droning their asses to Janum.
Still no change in our modus operandi, no aerial patrolling of the areas, and no big gun taken out.

Yep as usual the casualties continued unabated.
