I think the case has already been solved by a team of UoK. It was Soya dust that initiated a severe allergic reaction. People at the port didn't handle the imported soya beans with care.

All that drama from soya beans...

It is serious.. Soyabean dust is very dangerous.. A similar incident occurred in Spain sometime back when over 600 people got affected..
Thanks for the update..
You’d think they’d wear protective gear handling items hazardous to health.
At least a mask.

I did some research and what you pointed out is true it's dangerous due to pathogens, bacteria, etc. that can effect the respiratory system and what not.

Now just have to convince these uncles who think it's some sort of conspiracy against the state.

To be honest performance of NBCD team was not impressive. Navy NBCD teams were there on-site for 2 nights and unable to find the source of contamination. Maybe because it was not actually a nuclear or chemical threat

It was the University of Karachi blood testing of victims that finally identify the hazardous material. Still, it is sad that our authorities could not do anything and people kept dying for 2 days. A very sorry state of affairs.

It is not a drama.. Coming from a person who is in medical field... A severe allergic or hypersensitivity reaction can actually kill a person. Not be taken lightly at all.
Thank you for that... I was already informed of the hazards by the members earlier..

I don't blame you. Unfortunately , a lot of people in Pakistan take allergies and allergic reactions very lightly.

I have actually seen a person getting choked to death because of severe allergic reaction due to the food he was given to eat. In west , they actually ask you if you have any food allergies before giving you food.

they have reported this before anyone. These teams are specialized in WMD weapons.
