ON a side note : once u try to live as a power and start making an Airforce, navy, Army, then this economy won't be as it looks. There are lot of expenses to have a strong military and there is a lot of self-respect that is needed to have a strong military rather then boot-licking ur enemy... So if u want to keep bragging about the economy then u have to compromise on ur military, which u always had, but if u want a strong military, then u have to let go this economy . Good luck

It's called democracy = killing of demos aka people! In bangla we should call it as "gonohotta tontro / গণহত্যা তন্ত্র" instead of " gono tontro ".

Ps: For non Bengali, gono tontro = democracy, and gonohotta = genocide!

Dont confuse your self with india and western democracy. India is a country where 30 percent yes close to 400 million ppl dont know how to read or write. You expect proper british style democracy in third world 2000 per capita income country lol.

India will remain poor third world. Yes they might have some success here and there but thats pretty much it. If chaiwala cant fix economy by 2023 expect another mini war drama with Pakistan and maybe more nrc bla bla. Thats how he will win election again. He might bomb some forest in Pakistan and indian media will advertise it as great success. We all see the extent of lie and credibility issue with indian media last year feb.

There is not much pressure outside interest groups can apply on India.

Modi is selling politics that he is sticking it to the Muslims for their 600-800 years of ruling India. This hate for Muslim rule runs very deep in the minds of 100s of millions of right wing Indian Hindus. If you ever read Times of India comment section on any religion related topic, you will get a feel how deep it really is.
BJP thinks they can win election for decades using this politics. This kind of politics sells well but people will also have to deal with destructive economic policies of current BJP Govt. Modi the chaiwalla is an utterly inept guy when it comes to economics . So it is up to the Indian voters to select what they really want.
