13 Indians killed in US 'Mother of All Bombs' bombing in Afghanistan: Report
An Afghanistan-based news agency reported that 13 Indian Islamic State fighters were among those killed in the aftermath of the United States hitting an area in the country with its 'Mother Of All Bombs'.

13 Indian Islamic State militants were among those killed when the United States dropped its Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb in Afghanistan last week, an Afghan news agency said.
US President Donald Trump ordered the strike targeting a complex of caves and tunnels believed to be used by Islamic State fighters in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province.
Quoting unnamed local officials, Pajhowk Afghan News, reported that a total of 96 ISIS militants were killed in the bomb attack, including 13 Indians.
Among the Indians killed were two commanders - Mohammad and Allah Gupta - the report said. Notably, the report said that locals were evacuated from the area before the bomb was dropped, indicating that the US may have coordinated with the Afghanistan government before the bombing.
Meanwhile, Islamic State has maintained that none of its fighters were killed in the bombing.
ABOUT THE BOMBING
The United States dropped what its military calls the 'Mother Of All Bombs' (MOAB), the largest non-nuclear bomb that the US has in its arsenal, on an area in Nangarhar, Afghanistan on April 12.
The bomb - officially called the GBU-43B Massive Ordnance Air Blast - targeted caves and bunkers that were believed to have been used by ISIS fighters to move around in Afghanistan.
The bombing came on the heels of the United States firing 59 missiles at a Syrian airbase in response to a gas attack allegedly perpetrated by the Bashar al-Assad regime that killed scores of people.
