$120 billion disappeared during Al-Maliki’s regime, says British report

This thread and the posts in it are basically showing why the Middle East is in so much trouble right now and has been in the past decades... So much hate and so much corruption in a bunch of countries with people so fanatical- the best example of why the Muslim world is so far behind the modern world.

The modern world appointed this person as a nations leader. He was insanely corrupt and extremely brutal on Sunnis. He's one of the key causes for the rise of ISIS. As usual the leader of the free world is behind the destabilisation and destruction of Iraqi society.

There's been more oppression and torture in Bahrain against Shi'ites by the Sunni dominated regime than under Malikis rule when there were no active militia's. Indeed the problem is not that Maliki is the key cause for ISIS, Wahhabism is the cancer that fuels such terror acts and groups. Was there any Maliki in Peshawar when TTP killed over 100 kids? Do I have to name the thousands of other attacks in the world as well.

I see you're repeating what so many news outlets have said back in the day, now you think you know it all.

Difference is the US invaded Iraq and destabilised it first. And the ttp don't rule anyone. Stop trying to justify oppression. He is one of the key causes to the rise of Isis and you cannot deny that. There's a reason Mosul was able to be captured so easily. Most of the population welcomed Isis because of the Maliki regime.

IS apologists spread such information, it's nonsense. When Saddam massacred hundreds of thousands of people during the southern Iraq uprising in 1991 the Shia did not blow up and behead every civilian. The problem is in Sunni Islam, this is why you have your TTP beheading and massacring whenever they get the chance, whether they rule land or not is irrelevant in this case.

Collapse of the military was due to the Iraqi parliament sabotaging the military, sources of that are the 2 former ministers of defense whom are both Sunni. If you look at parliament today you will notice that corruption is being exposed, several ministers have been voted out with a no-confidence motion. Maliki did fail, but he didn't fail on Sunnis he failed on all Iraqis.

Sunnis being oppressed by the regime is a myth and cover used by IS apologists. If we look at Bahrain for the past years the minority Sunni regime has been oppressing the majority Shia population, they've killed and used force against them. They even invited foreign military forces to back them up against their own people. Yet the Shiites of Bahrain did not resort to suicide bombings and beheadings of random Sunnis, not even military/police forces.

In Yemen dozens of Arab states ganged up against locals, they've been bombing Yemenis for over a year causing many civillian casualties, recent sources stated that 1 in 3 bombings hit civillians. The US retreat military support due to this. Those are actually good examples of forced oppression.

Imagine the outrage if we were to invite Iranian troops to help out, but it's acceptable in Yemen and Bahrain? Muslims are hypocrites aren't they.

Yep of course you are justifying violence and oppression. Iraq was hell of a lot better with Saddam even though he was another American puppet. Stop denying the fact that Maliki was a key factor to the rise of this cult called Isis. The Arab states that banded against Yemen where none other than American shoe shine boys (gulf Arabs) using American weapons to kill Muslims. You can't deny how bad Maliki was. Maliki was just another terrorist appointed by the US.

Did you just not read what I said. I said Maliki failed the people, he didn't fail Sunnis he failed all of Iraq. For your information he wasn't exactly providing great security and services to the Shiites.

There was no general oppression of Sunnis during the 2012-2014 period either, how you will prove there was? Western articles from 2014 don't count as they were spreading lots of nonsense back then. Given that this group operates worldwide especially in Sunni Muslim states and thrives on Wahhabism/Salafism, perhaps that might be the key factor to IS. The only reason Iraq/Syia were the perfect area for IS to flourish to the point it had is due to the weak state institutions that were left in Iraq after the American invasion, the corrupt political system which gave room for internal sabotage against the military. And of course neighboring Syria where IS and FSA were working together freely before ISI took it over from them in 2013 and established ISIS.

You should read about the 2012/2013 Anbar protests and IS infiltration, the army did not act against it and back then they already left Fallujah for the locals. They did not use force given that if they did the world would shout sectarianism, which turned out to be a huge mistake. In the end the ones that suffered the most from their own actions turned out to be the Sunnis themselves.

That aside, speaking of the key factor for the rise of IS who forgot Erdogan who freely let all jihadists enter Syria through Turkey.

.
Since the invasion, Brit's spread the world's biggest anti-American propaganda. Unlike Abadi the British puppet, Maliki was an American puppet so... Let Iraqi's kill each other and blame Turkey for their incompetence and attack it on behalf of their non-regional masters.

Comparing minor skirmishes between protesters and police in Bahrain with full fledged genocide against Sunnis in Iraq is a lie itself. Noori Al maliki was a sectarian piece of shit and he did everything he could to take his revenge on Sunni populace. He gave free hand to Shia death squads to kill Sunnis.. Anyone with the name of Umar or Abu Bakr was killed by these bastards. He let Shia extremists/terrorists from Iran to enter Iraq to oppress Sunnis. Former US Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker said Maliki “sees basically in almost every Sunni a nascent Baathi. With mentality like this what good could come from that bastard? tens of thousands were detained when American forces left Iraq. ISIS was formed due to the brutality of his government against Sunnis and they did a great job in taking revenge.

Call me whatever you want to but you cant hide the truth with your takia. We have already taken care of TTP while the second biggest city of Iraq is still under ISIS control. what a shame.

Lying and being superstitious is very common in the whole MENA region, Muslims (Especially the 'righteous' ones like you) excel in this.

Not really impressive for a country that wasn't attacked by the US to start with. The last terror attack was only a few days ago.

60% of the Suicider bombers in Iraq are 'Saudi'.

Most of the Maniac IS terrorists after Tunesians are 'Saudi'. (the second place despite having very small population)

You saudis even martyred family of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) wildly and completely merciless. you dangerous viruses should perish from the earth for sake of everything good that exist in the world. I'm sure you are the worst creatures that ever ever existed. you are much wilder and worse than gorillas which lived on earth before humans.
