If he was involved in this grenade attack, then surely that is the right thing to do?
Besides, isn't he too young to be arrested? Aren't the parents responsible at that age?

The magistrate got annoyed at his having been in police custody.

Under the Indian Penal Code, a kid this age cannot be tried (can be arrested, but can be tried; not all arrests lead to trial). However, somebody just reminded us that these laws do not apply in Kashmir. They obey their own penal code, a harsh code born in an autocracy. The magistrate seems quite clearly determined not to permit any of this nonsense, and has ordered detention as a juvenile delinquent.

I agree with you, this is what Bhartis do with Kashmiris and that too even 12 year olds. Why, because the 12 year old is a Muslim. Why, because the 12 year old must have seen hundreds of deaths in front of him. Why, because he does not want to remain under Indian occupation. Why, because if the great Indians could do this to a 12 year old, what would they do to Kashmiri women and children. Why because these people are seeking freedom from Indian occupation.

When this 12 year old grows up, unless he is killed before he grows up, he will still remember the atrocities of brave Indian security forces killing innocent men, women and children and protected under the great Indian law and its penal codes and its penal colonies like Kashmir and most of NE India and would be protected by AFSPAs.
