Not particularly happy with this development. PA personnel could do with some rest and recreation. Why send them off to yet another conflict zone? it makes sense to send troops when they've not had action for a while, not when they've been continually deployed in some form of conflict for a decade.

Pakistan committed itself to the UNO peacekeeping forces. I believe that this is part of their obligation

Pakistan's troops, along with India's are constantly battle tested through such deployments and paid well for it. Without us, UN peace keeping duties would just collapse.

1100 is a tiny tiny tiny tiny fraction of our forces.

No issues there.

just like an engineer needs to spend 90% of his waking time designing/making/improving things
just like an doctors needs to spend 90% of his waking time treating patients

And army man a true soldier must spend 90% or more of his time doing service.

I know many who have served in Africa

And they do not complain about fatigue.

In fact some of the top ones served in Malkand and Bajore, then they were off to DRC.

We have enough soldiers to serve our country and serve internationally.

Hopefully soon we'll have Pakistani marines in large enough number (5-10 divs) ready to bring peace in other hot spots like Iraq, Syria, Libya, West Bank, and Gaza.
