Nice. Why don't they now start to deploy these solar panels into homes too? The US has started to do that. Brand new homes have a panel on top or on the side, which produces electricity in states with abundance sunshine like Florida, Texas, California, etc, etc.

One panel per home runs all electricity outside of AC's, Heaters, irons, dish washer and laundry machines. Now if you think about it, the rest of all lights, tv's, fans, etc, in homes up to 4500 sqft can work off the panel. Incurring 0 electric bill (and especially providing basic electricity to the entire home during power outage hours in Pakistan).

This would be huge and can cut down the energy needs of Pakistan by 40%+ easily, and can start an entirely new industry inside Pakistan with millions of jobs as Solar installers, etc. Its a country with 80% of the area getting abundant sunshine so why not use it? At the least, you cut down on your home electric bill by 60-75%.

Very good development. What i the per KW cost from this plant? India has struck recent power purchase agreement at Rs 4.35/KW.
