Well I partly agree with your statement. But to generalize all Americans is pretty wrong. There are quite a few Asians on the list.

For example many in Indian goes ga ga over Aishwarya Rai, but personally for me Vidya Balan and Chitrangada Singh are more desirable than Aishwarya.

The one with fame always tends to be more overrated than others.
