100 foot Chinese God statue covered after Muslims threaten to break down

Oh, i though Indonesia was a secular state. anyways i also wouldn't like tall idols of a man/Gods in open public area which have nothing to do with us, everybody should respect each other's sensitivities..

The better way is to have temple, and do whatever you want to do inside it.. just like Muslims and Christians do in their place of worship, i.e mosques and Church,

We are talking about Indonesian and you start to sidetrack by talking about whole ASEAN? Malaysian with Najib essentially bribe by CPC, so anti-Chinese campaign is out of question.

Singapore is Chinese dominant national. You mean Singapore Chinese campaign against its own race?

Bali Hinduism population is far larger than Indonesian Chinese. If extremism damaged, Hindu will suffer far more damaged compare to Chinese Indonesian.

To all your points:
  1. Najib heads the same party that started race riots in 1969. In fact Najib himself is on record promoting Malay Supremacy and other stuff. In fact, UMNO associated goons were just recently stirring anti-Chinese sentiment in Malaysia during Bersih Protests, and even calling for open massacre of Chinese.
Don't forget that China also supported Pol Pot, who was involved in killing of many Chinese ethnic people.
  2. Have a look at the map. Singapore is literally a river away from Malaysia, and a small stretch away from Indonesia, BOTH of whom have elements that claim Singapore as their territory. If there is a larger Malay/Indonesian Supremacy extremism in that area, Singapore is definitely going to be affected.
  3. I was talking about Indonesia. Bali may be Hindu, but what about rest? And there is well established hate against Chinese among various Indonesian groups. A LOT more hate compared to Hindus. Chinese will be the first target to extremism in that area.

If extremism damage a country, it will affect anyone, from minority muslim to Minority non-Muslim.

Be it ethnic Chinese who worship nobody or practice any form of religion.

How Indonesia and Malaysia want to treat their own Muslims, Hindus and ethnic Chinese is their own decision. Personally I think all of them are going to suffer due to the recent radicalization. Significantly.

My concern personally is that any PRC nationals living in those countries should leave as soon as they are able.

Why not give a direct entry to any Chinese ethnic person who wants to come to China?

Anyways, if you have no concern for Chinese people once they change citizenship, why do many of your country man start calling them "Hanjian" and cursing them if they appear to be acting against Chinese interests?

Not so straight.

Violence will ALWAYS start from Chinese.

Then perhaps it may spread to Indians, and Natives, and Shias etc.

But it will ALWAYS start towards Chinese.

Bali Hindu's are not ethnic Indians. They are ethnic Indonesian. With Mongoloid features.

How should I know why they do that? Maybe they believe in loyalty to race/ethnicity instead of loyalty to country/nation?

Citizens have a duty of loyalty to their country of nationality first. If they choose to put their race or religion over their nation, how are they different from the terrorist/extremist Uyghur groups in Xinjiang, who put their race (Turkic) and religion (Islam) over their loyalty to China.

Why not give a direct entry to any Chinese ethnic person who wants to come to China?

China has enough people to look after right now, they come first. There are entry routes for foreign nationals of ethnic Chinese descent to gain Chinese citizenship, but the chances of success are very low. The reason is the same as before, the Chinese citizens we have right now must come first.

Not hard to google if you want to know...China has nothing to do with India over religious issue, we don't need any Indians to support us and we don't care neither about how Hindus temples got destroyed...you guys are on your own and same for us.

Hindu have an "OG" status in Indonesia. Even if the whole country turns radical. Hindu & Buddhist religion will never be targeted.

As a chinese living here this is a worrying trend but what surprise me more is that this never happened before. Giant statue of deity is nothing new in Indonesia. We just built a giant buddha statue couple of years back & there's no outrage over it. The papuan government even have a plan to make a 100m tall jesus statue (taller than the one in rio) with built in viewing platform inside the head so you can see through Jesus's eyes... So they said.
