What you stated is true but the Independence movement was gathering huge momentum. There was no way Britain could hold onto India when we united! As for the Naxals, there are serious issues about why their movement has attracted many sympathizers. Its not your run of the mock terror op. They are now much more spohiscated than that.

Even western countries like US have Patriot Act and Home Land Security Act which violates any free nations constitution.

It's because of AFSPA Act center had grip over the chaos and blood shed these maoists, naxals, non state actors who were unleashing hell on the Indian citizens of any states in it's Union.
