BTW according to me the heinous but not lecherous was "Pran"

few actors have been as versatile as Praan Sahab. of all things that are unique to him, His voice is perhaps his greatest strengths.

Bollywood villains were just as famous as the heroes. But gone are those days...now every character has a grey shade and 're more real.
I think one negative character whom I really hated from the core of my heart was Aamir Khan's character in "1947 Earth"

I think I got a notification for the road trip and I did give a like to your post and a couple of other posts on that thread. But I didn't have anything to add there so I didn't make any post. :(

I did not get any notification about train journey...could pls you give me the link again.

The climax sent shudders through me.And Aamir Khan was just apt for that role.Hes been always experimental.
The scene (at the end of movie) where mad crowd abducts Nandita Das's character (if i remember correctly her name was Shanti or Shanta) in a bullock cart, haunted me for several days. We know partition in terms of two nations born, division of resources etc, but there was a terrible human cost attached to the event, which the movie depicts brilliantly.

Movies of yesteryears were much better than most of the crap Bollywood has shelled out in the the last 5 years.

Also, one more to add- Kkkkkkkiran- from DARR - ShahRukh Khan

The movie and role that arguably made ShahRukh Khan a superstar.
