LAHORE (Dunya News) - A Pakistani man was killed when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked small arms and artillery firing at Line of Control in in Charikot sector in the wee hours of Monday.

The Indian security forces also opened unprovoked fire and used mortar shell in Kotli, martyring a youth.

Sources said that a mortar shell fired by the Indian troops hit the house in Donga Gambhir, resultantly a youth, identified as Zubair, was martyred.

Pakistani forces retaliated the attacks. The intermittent exchange of fire triggered tensions in the region.

Earlier on Sunday, Indian Border Security Force (BSF) violated cease fire on LoC and opened unprovoked fire on a Pakistan Rangers checkpost in Sialkot sector in Nakial sector near Kotli, military official said.

The situation remains tense between the South Asian neighbours since New Delhi accused Pakistan Army of killing Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.

Bravo the Great Indian Army ... they stay true to their motto i.e. " When you cant fight the professionals , Kill the civilians "

is there heavy civilian presence near around the border ?? Any 1 to shed some light

That is just shameful.
Fire at the Army you bloody cowards.

I hope PA does not stoop to their level and target civilians.
Times like these can turn good people to do bad stuff.

Hope they rot in hell. Bloody cowards. It is not that we were expecting something else from these brave and honorable indian soldiers.

Go chest thump somewhere else, couldn't knock down soldiers so start attacking civilians

Knocking of soldiers was what was happening. Unfortunately a civilian lost his life here.

Since in Kashmir Pakistan has blurred out the line between uniformed soldiers and armed terrorists working for PA, they can easily claim a civilian getting killed even when it is a un uniformed terrorists fighting side by side Pakistani uniformed soldiers. These are the same civilians who at times infiltrate into India and get hunted down by the Indian security forces..

It was on International border near Sialkot ... and it has not happened for the first time .. Indian Army has a Habit of taking out their frustration on Civilians ..

Wake up buddy. This is year 2013. Seems like you are still stuck in 2011.

There were no major LoC firing incident after 2011 and very less civilian loss in both sides.

If this continues, you will see more protests.

Soldiers kill soldiers... and in return, soldiers kill civilians?

Isn't that a bit stupid?
