SATKHIRA: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel held an Indian citizen from Bhomra frontier area under Sadar upazila of the district early Thursday.
The detainee was identified as Tapan Roy, 45, son of Iswar Mandir Nath of Biva village under Hasnabad Thana of Uttar Chabbish Pargana district of India.
Officer-in-Charge of Satkhira Sadar Thana Aslam Khan told banglanews that BGB men handed the arrested over to Sadar Thana.
A case was filed in this regard, he added.
