Bihar beats India in growth rate at 12%.

Good work, but Bihar is developing from a much lower base. Meanwhile Nitish is as corrupt as any other secular casteist. See Editor-in-Chief of Bihar After Nitish, the Flood We wish the people of Bihar well.

India wins crucial hearing on Kishenganga Hydro-electric Project

Exactly. It is truth that won. And Pakistan also won, because its own long term interest is best served by not taking unreasonable positions on bilateral issues. Indians should also show a mature attitude and refrain from behaving as if they won a cricket match.

Do you also feel that the Pakistani soldier who crossed over to meet a village girl should have been harmed?

Pakistan Army soldier inadvertently crossed LoC; Indian Army killed him.

There are still open questions about how he happened to cross the LOC, but assuming it was a mistake we should all keep calm and remember the following points - 1. If he crossed by mistake then it is an unfortunate and regrettable incident 2. IA's reaction has to be seen in the context of the...

Pakistan Army soldier inadvertently crossed LoC; Indian Army killed him.

In the helicopter case even the Pakistanis did not initially realize that an Indian helicopter had crossed over. After the Indian pilot had landed he asked the ground staff to refill his tank and it was only then that anybody realized that anything was wrong.

Pakistan Army soldier inadvertently crossed LoC; Indian Army killed him.

If the soldier had crossed by genuine mistake then this is sad and unfortunate. But the Indian side always has to be wary about infiltration by non-state actors so their reaction is understandable. I recall another recent case in which a Pakistani soldier had crossed over to talk to some...

India Clears Hydropower Project On Brahmaputra To Counter China

India is not building dams on the Brahmaputra river (only on tributaries originating in India). However, China's dams on the main Brahmaputra river will directly reduce the water supply going to Bangladesh. This is a matter between China and Bangladesh. China may soon have many thirsty, angry...

Had Vajpayee been PM, Afzal's execution wouldn’t have happened: Ex-RAW chie

Afzal Guru seems to have been a decent individual who became badly misguided by the ideology of cross-border Jihadism. Considering the enormity of the crime of attacking the Parliament, in which his involvement is proven beyond all doubt, there was no option but to hang him. That said, many of...

India's per capita income rises to Rs 5,729 per month

Is this an average figure? If you take one secular politician like Kalmadi or Sonia or Pawar and 999 typical marginal farmers, the average income for the 1000 individuals will be in the millions.

American Army hawks and Free Masons tried to bought my Loyalties: Shahid

Membership in organizations like Freemasonry, Opus Dei and Templar Knights is quite rife in US Army and government circles. Quite often, claims made in Pakistani media are not credible, but this claim is not too outlandish. See Seymour Hersh: Military Branch Being Run By 'Crusaders'

    Kashmiri Leaders visit Pakistan

You are talking about the Shopian case ... it has been proved beyond doubt that the unfortunate young ladies had drowned in the river; there was never any rape. This is an excellent example that illustrates how little respect for truth there is among the separatists and their foreign backers.
