Gül: Turkey will not accept Iran possessing nuclear weapons

The PM and President of Turkiye said many times that Turkiye does not want any nuclear weapons in the region which includes Israel. I remember clearly that in his one speech Erdogan pointed Israel directly about this issue and critized west's hypocrisy in this manner. The only reason why we...

Does Turkey Benefit From Cold War With Israel?

Yes, we do. As seen in the last two years, being against Israel simply brings more benefits than being ally with them. Being a foreign policy expert to see that is not a must.

Greece snatched Turkish islands reporters say

No, no concerns or whatsoever.. Russians have started to make more balanced statements between rebels and Syrian regime (an improvement for the rebels considering Russians full suport for the Syrian regime at the begining) and western media have started to cook chemical weapons story. So...

    Photos of 1965's Istanbul

Taken by Charles W. Cushman, from University of Indiana, in 1965. I am aware of the fact that they are not defence related but, in my humble opinion, these photos worth millions. I hope you like them as much as I do. Milliyet - 1965 y

    A few questions about turkey

There is no such thing called Ottoman Language. What you called Ottoman Language is Turkish written in Arabic Alphabet and it was exactly Turkish. (How would you able to explain the 400 year-old-gap otherwise? It is not like burying something to the ground and taking it out 400 years later.)...

    A few questions about turkey

There is no such thing. We didn't change our language. We would have been speaking same Turkish language today, even if we hadn't swicted our alphabet from Arabic to Latin. Languages are independent from the alphabets. If you meant changing the alphabet, then that's another story. :)

Last F-16 Block 50+ Has Been Delivered

I am not very sure of the accuracy of the source but here is the list I took from balkanalysis.com. Greece, as they have thousands of islands in the Aegean Sea, historically pays very much attention to keep their air force powerful. They have almost equal (slightly weaker) air attack...

Turkey, Russia work on new plan for Syria

Assad is o-v-e-r. He is probably looking for a country to run away right now. But I don't think Russians are too stupid to accept him.

    A few questions about turkey

Ataturk was not only a great general, he was also one of the greatest, the most visionary and the most intellectual leaders that has ever come to Muslim world. The world has seen many great soldiers and many great statesmen seperately but 20th century had only one person who had both skills...

    A few questions about turkey

It has been historically very limited, especially after the Ittihad and Terakki Party, which governed Ottoman Empire between 1909 and 1918, had the emotional breakdown in 1913. Although they were still Pan-Ottoman from 1909 to 1913 (they moved to Pan-Turkism after that time), the Arabian affect...

    A few questions about turkey

    1. Cyprus (well known massacres of Muslim Turks by Greeks, happened in 1964 and 1973) 2. Territorial waters dispute in Aegean Sea (Greece want to increase their territorial water from 6 nautical miles to 12 miles, but Turkiye sees this a action as a Casus belli, reason of a war) 3. Dodecanese...

    A few questions about turkey

    1. First of all, Alevism shares some common values with Shai Islam but it is absolutely NOT a Shia sect. Shias constantly refuse Alevisim. Turkish-Iran rivalry is more than 1000 years old. It goes back to Ghaznavid Empire (963–1186) which is one of the Turkic dynasties that ruled Iran...

Turkey, Russia work on new plan for Syria

If we have started to hear these kinds of statements coming from Russia and news about Syrian regime's chemical mass destruction weapons coming from western countries, that means Assad has only 4 weeks left.

Turkey, Russia work on new plan for Syria With Russian support for President Bashar al-Assad seemingly wavering, Moscow and Turkey get set to map out a plan for ‘political change’ in Syria Turkish government sources confirmed that Turkey and Russia have agreed to work on a plan for...
