Seems unlikely.. YTKB is a patrol vessel with ASW capabilities... but there are no submarines in Hazar lake

so what they were so happy with the performance of the twin 40mm main gun?

Edit: I've just read the news, it says the new ships will be armed with STOP 25mm and 40mm AA so.. Wouldn't it be better for them to order Ada class corvettes? I don't know..

Ada class corvettes is not ready for export, they need this kind of ships now I guess.

And I think Ada class is too much for Turkmens needs.

Even If Turkmenistan requires to order some Milgem, I think We can't export any cause of political reasons. Azerbaijan objects to sell any weapon system to Turkmenistan so carrying out strong lobby activities in Trkey. Azerbaijan banned Dearsan shipyard and added to blacklist cause of selling YTKB to Turkmenistan...

We dont need to sell Corvettes, Turkmenistan want there new boats to be highly armed equal to a corvette...

ffs please listen to yourselves. of course they need corvettes, where the fvck are they supposed to put anti-surface missiles on YTKB? it's almost smaller than a passenger ferry. What are they going to do with ASW rockets there are no submarines!

Trying to mount a full arsenal of weapons on a small ship is amateurish as hell. They don't have the luxury of wasting time like this, threats are Iran and Russia.

I hope we can have around $8 billion export by 2023 i think that was the aim. 2011 it was $1+ billion if im not wrong , with T-129 , ANKA , Altay we could boost it considerably.
