VIEW : Siachen: a costly war for Pakistan and India

Despite the fact you didn't provide dates, can you explain your comments in bold? Are you saying that the Pashtuns/Pathans were at the very least able to beat your 'professionally trained army'--your words--to a standstill?

Pakistan’s Edhi among favourites for Nobel Peace Prize

Given its recent recipients I'm not sure you can say the prize is non-political.

    The Greatest Generals of World

He defeated the Pakistani army; that's hardly an achievement. Btw is it true that the Indian Army made the Pakistani army soldiers wear bulls-eyes on the seat of their pants? How about General Kiani or Musharaf, how do they compare as two of the greatest generals in world history?

VIEW : Siachen: a costly war for Pakistan and India

Simple questions: 1. when did the Pathans/Pashtuns enter? 2. when do you claim the Indian army invaded? 3. when did the fighting end?

Pakistan’s Edhi among favourites for Nobel Peace Prize

Edhi won't get the prize for the same reason that Gandhi didn't; they want proof of a commitment to peace. The committee will reject him because of his comment that the leaders of the PPP, ANP, MQM should be sewn up in a sack and thrown in the Indian ocean.

VIEW : Siachen: a costly war for Pakistan and India

It's irrelevant. The fact is Jinnah badly miscalculated, and his first response wasn't to ask muhajirs and others to fight in kashmir; no, he used the pathans/pashtuns to do the dying. Please don't hide who actually did the fighting and dying in Kashmir by the use of the term 'irregulars'...

VIEW : Siachen: a costly war for Pakistan and India

Might is right. That works while you have overwhelming firepower but you suffer the consequences once your neighbors believe that's the rule you practise. No, those brave 'genrail' of the pakistani army weren't up to the job and they asked pathans/pashtuns to do the fighting for them.

IMF cuts India growth forecast to 4.9%

Because that sort of growth rate is only acceptable in a developed economy, not one which is making the transition to a developed economy. A growth rate that low for an economy like yours heralds major underlying structural problems.

    Drone was IRAN MADE

Why do you regard this as a great victory? Sending the equivalent of a toy plane into airspace full of real aircraft can hardly be seen as some great victory. I accept that it may have been embarrassing if this was happening on a regular basis but the Israeli military isn't that incompetent!

IDF shoots down drone that penetrated Israeli airspace

Excellent job by the Israeli pilot and by the tracking crew. The fact that Israel hasn't taken the bait and responded straight away means Nasrulluhs ploy to drag Israel into the Syrian war has failed.

Hezbollah confirms sending drone into Israeli airspace

What's so exceptional about this project?

If Romney Wins, Does the U.S. Navy Expand?

Actually they need a massive expansion of their fleet as the world becomes more multi-polar, they'll need to be able to confront more threats. The greatest threat at the moment is going to be Iran, which if it gains nuclear weapons will need to be faced down and if necessary blockaded.

curious case of malala and drone children

I'd say this; that if you confuse a human with a dog, and treat a human like a dog, then you deserve locking up for a very long time, but let's hope it's not in a kennel! Let's see what you logic says my dear Sir.

Azerbaijan Defence Programs & Military Development

I believe military service is compulsory in Turkey. I don't understand the purpose of your question. If a person is in the military and is asked to go to the combat theater does that make them brave? Do they have a choice? If they had a choice and went, it may be that they just lack imagination.

Growing Russia-Pakistan ties a reality that India will have to live with

Please be more explicit, are you referring to India attitides vis-a-vis Sri Lanka or Indian attitude vis-a-vis Nepal? As regards access via Iran, certainly by all means. Transport your goods via road to the docks, but don't forget to arrange contracts with the shipping companies and...

Iran plans to export 6,000 MW of electricity to India, Pakistan

Pakistan already has experience of the ayatollahs suddenly increasing energy prices when American attention was elsewhere.

Iraq 2002, Iran 2012: Compare and contrast Netanyahu's speeches

They support the right of the ayatollahs to nuclear energy with appropriate safeguards to ensure that the Shia theocracy doesn't misuse the technology to threaten the world with nuclear weapons--that's not the same thing as saying they completely support their nuclear program.
