It can’t find it. It lacks a radar plus the EO/IR iran uses on it is limited to very short ranges. All anti tank missiles in the world used by Helos have a 10km max range. Except Spike NLOS, which doesn’t rely on the EO/IR used by the Helicopter.

The frigates you mentioned have more than 3000/4000 tons displacement. But it’s very interesting how they added vls to the Denmark corvette. As far as I know, only russian corvettes (Karakurt and Buyan-M) and the Gowind-1000 are the only vessels with less than 1500 tons displacement and are...

But there are smaller vessels with way less displacement weight and are equipped with VLS. I mean they can work on adding launchers for 9th Dey if VLS doesn’t work, like Aspide or Sea Sparrow or Crotale-NG...

Check the alborz frigate, which was fitted with Kamand and with its full sensors. There is no radar for the Kamand, only EO/IR sensors.

Last thing, If you realize, phalanx or type-730 or Kashtan ciws all have radars alongside optics, but iranian kamand ciws only have EO/IR sensors for guidance... Any Idea why?

Is there more ships other than damavand-2 and Taftan? Another thing, they are saying that Dena lacks the asr radar....

So what? Russian Buyan-M and Karakurt Corvettes are less than 1000 tons and carry 8 Kalibrs or Yakhont via VLS, Sa’ar 6 is 1800 tons and carries 16 ASMs adding 10s of anti-air missiles, and many other examples around the world...
