pal you got it wrong, the new round is 7.62*64 while NATO uses 7.62*51. this is a new round in the world, i was talking about it's parent cartridge which judging by the rimless case of the round it should be based on NATO 7 mm. there is a similar round out there named .308 norma magnum (7.62*65)...
