Found the site while searching for defence news and information and was quite hooked to this site and decided to join in

The avid technical discussion on the topics and the knowledge of the members and their discussions (apart from trolling)

I am still a student

I love reading and researching anything that is related to army, maybe because most of my family has served or are serving in the armed forces. I love writing stories, and sketching. (90% of them are based on the army :P)
2) What do you do.
I am currently a student at a university.
3) How did you find us?
Through the most common means i.e. google.
4) What interests you here?
I want to learn more about the armed forces, while also contributing my knowledge about them.
5) What is your profession?
Student
6) Future plans?
Most probably taking over my family business.:victory:

Desmond Last who for the last 8 years has been writing new ideas to end wars and conflicts in our world - this includes a development of the United Nations to provide the World with democracy at the International Level. Also a new understanding of the Bible and Quran to promote peace between all faiths. Doing this has resulted in attempts to silence and harm me. For Afghanistan I formulated a Peace Proposal and a new economy I also wrote Poetry to Mullah Omar hoping to be able to write of his life for his People in poetry. One day I hope to put my ideas to the World.I also read of Ayman Al Zawheri loss of family - the same loss a US Marine suffers and wrote a poem for him. However I am totally opposed to suicide bombings and terrorism and any Peace talks would not start until all such activities were stopped. But you cannot after 30 years of war just sit down and say let us have Peace. First each side must develop what is it offering to the people and that includes the Taliban. That clown Kerry thinks it is possible to have Peace without the consent of the people. The Taliban must be prepared to learn to live with the world not outside of it if it is to be a credible Representative of the people and that means spending time with then to help then understand how a taliban economy will interact with the world. They also have to be able to explain God not dictate him. Anyway as i am prevented by explaining all this ww will just have to wait for more to die.

Welcome and hopefully you will be sharing your ideas for a better world with peace and comfort for humanity and all which is one of the purposes of PDF. I am also a junior member though have been around for some times so I would like you to keep sharing in proper sections, avoid trolls or replying them as well as be impartial and unbiased. Hope to hear from you some good stuff Sir.

Being Impartial can be difficult - for example. Here I am in a so-called civilised country a member of the Security Council and a member of the EU. I watch on TV as the refugees are treated as if they had committed murderous crimes. Why for instance do they have to walk across Europe? Why after 5 years of bombing of fear and of loss are they treated like cattle. Surely we can supply Army Trucks? So I find it difficult to be impartial about such a disgusting example of so-called governments who are all signatory to declarations of Human Rights. Thank you for your support.

Welcome again though Impartial was to be avoid trolling and not to be indulged with fake ideology though criticism can done in positive manners with facts indeed and IMO will be beneficial to read by members.

and i call myself a humanist ( :D ), me being a socialist and all.

i too am a kitaabi keeda, my last finished book being dev anand's autobiography 'romancing with life'... i have quite a few unread books sitting on my computer desk, including 'blue mars' and 'poems by faiz' ( by kiernan ).

and lest i forget, i am a self-declared falsafi and resident sufi-jogi socialist. :D

nice user-name you have though i was ignorant about the name and had to google it... turns out she was the victim of a witch-hunt, same thing that is happening in india nowadays with the progressive students of jnu and so many intellectuals since 2013.
