  • brother...have just been to sikkim....maza aa gaya.....nathula was closed though.....and so was yumthang.
    hehe....dont worry we'll be all prepared...and we cant go in december because our semester exams are going on and we'll be free by 27th......anyway thanks for your tips...and yes we'll surely not do any kachra....hehehe.....anyway smoking allowed on roadside?....i dont think so....right?
    i know you will laugh but most of my friends are marathis and thay are not very use to of winter....since in mumbai you dont need sweaters even in jan let alone jackets and thermals...and they are taking sikkim's weather very lightly.....hehehe......maza aayega.....sabki bajegi pungi....
    one more thing somewhere i heard that north sikkim is still not accessible after earth quake....hope it would be open by then......we have a train from mumbai to NJP and than rest are by suvs....
    thanks for your information........i meant whether the road to zero point would be open or not at that time say between 6th to 17th.....we are in sikkim for 11-12 days.......we also have a plan for 'Katao'...at 19000 feet....but anyway it depends on weather conditions and driver should be agree to take us there because one of my friend faced the same problem last time....
    hey i am going sikkim in january from mumbai with 10 friends....we are about to visit every well known places there.....just one question from you that what are the chances to visit zero point and yumthang say on 12th jan.......we are going zuluk, kuluk, pelling,nathula, gurdambar lake(if possible),yumthang,lachen, gangtok,several monastries and many more...and after that we'll decide for trekking next time...since you are from sikkim than you can help me through.
