Vietnam has an 3000 kilometers seashore, you have many choices of beach resorts, from common to luxury. Westerners usually choose Nha Trang and Da Nang. As I have seen, the Russian usually choose Phu Quoc island and Vung Tau city.
If you like some kind of "adventure" traveling, you should take a tour of Mekong Delta. It's suitable for your work of nature. You won't disappoint
If you want to learn more about the history/culture of Vietnamese, you should take a tour in Hanoi.
The last thing, for common choice of travel, you can choose Ho Chi Minh city, it just like other big city in the world.
