If you want to talk about this from an ideological point of view, Deobandism is a distortion of the original school of Hanafi thought, Salafism is a distortion of the original school of Hanbali thought. Sunnis say Shias don't love the companions of the Holy Prophet(S), Shias love the true companions of the Holy Prophet(S). We believe our Prophet(S) was 'masoom'.
