There is science and technology talent in many countries like US, European nations, Russia, Japan, Iran, Canada, South-American countries, Australia, New Zealand, South-Africa, China, Turkey etc. Why is it that India is most successful in launching space missions and satellites in outer space? India is said to launch rockets with great accuracy and success rate. Why is it that despite starting late in outer-space science, India has left these countries behind?

The answer is that India has one additional strength. This extra plus point sets India apart from others. And that feature is large population of pen-pushers. Indians are extraordinary pen-pushers who can do pen-pushing for long periods of time with great efficiency and speed. Russia too excels in pen-pushing but it's drawback is that it's population is too small. Due to it's pen-pushing talent, Russia too has one of the best records in the field of rocket science. But due to it's sparse population it missed the numero uno position in space-faring. People around the world are yet to understand the importance of pen-pushing.

The term 'pen-pushing' may be going out of usage. So brushing up it's meaning. Pen-pushing means the banal paper-work, clerical type work.

I always knew pen-pushing is the reason for rockets rise.

One of the reasons why ISRO is so successful is because of the lack of pen-pushing within the industry. The govt simply lets them do what they want, so only the scientists are running the show.
