I would say its due to Bangladesh being relatively an unknown country despite having 160 million population . I would even say its one of the least recognized big country in the world ( in terms of population) . They are time frozen in 1971 and will not let go of that .

In international politics they aren't regarded as that important by countries despite having alot of peace keeping troops around the world . They have a sense of trying to prove themselves to the world to recognize them as someone very important.

Also they have been playing victims since 1971. Whenever they lose in cricket they feel its a conspiracy theory and someone is trying to hold them back(even though they were never that good in cricket to begin with). thats just one example . I mean how many celebrities do we know from bangladesh?or the world knows?. So mostly its down to them being not that famous or not given the due diligence by the world

2. Who apart from maybe sheikh hasina is well known around the world? No one . Bangladesh does not have enough world famous Musicians/Sportsmen/Politcian that people around the world recognize . Can be down to the fact that Bangladesh hasn't achieved that much in those circles .

3. You guys are mentally still there in 1971 . Come out of it .

5. Do you guys have any strategic close partners like Pak-China or India-Russia? No. While you guys have good relations with most countries no major Country in international arena has considered you a very close ally .

6. I think most of it is also due to the fact that people from Pak-India look down upon you so you go out of your way and say stupid things to get their attention. Here I would say bangladesh feels like a third wheel . She feels everything is about Pak-Ind and bangladesh never gets any attention .
