Pakistan is of course free to decide what it wants to do with Dr. Afridi, as long it is prepared to pay the price, which will only increase with time. That is all. This is not a morality competition but a pursuit of national interests.

This is my personal opinion. You may call it whatever suits you but I personally feel if US pressurise us anyway to get him release then why we should not trade him wisely.

There are no principles in international politics simple as that.
