Just to clarify that the alerts still show on top of the username but the dropdown option is longer available. So it would additional clicks to get to the notification thread.

The issue is not related to IE or lack of Adblocker.

@krash and @DesertFox97 were just pulling my leg and selling the idea that I should stop using IE and move to Chrome instead so that I could use Adblocker.

Oh the forum alerts have nothing to do with it. Like dadeechi said, I was just joking around seeing that he had a ton of adds on the screen shot he posted.
