What's new

After China Saudi Arabia to do major investment in Pakistan.

What form of investment? How much investment and of course where ( our new motto for investment) will you do these investment?

Invesments are always welcome and no matter what we have become we cannot kick out such investment but do they actually have a plan or is it just an announcement without any plan like the coalition...

They are surviving on their reserves due to negative prices of oil.

Well I hope they do as Pakistan needs investment left right and center.... We only got china and barely these guys.. Can't keep messing it up.

It should not be even a news unless there are few plans and agreements.

The Saudis, having realized their stupidity in Yemen and trying to force Pakistan into a new coalition, are probably using this to fix the bridge between Pakistan and KSA, and try to persuade Pakistan into joining the coalition as a more active member (spoiler: it won't work).

I don't see anything short of $46 billion dollars changing Pakistan's route away from KSA, and towards regional neutrality.
No not all in fact they are quite happy and satisfied in Yemen now they want to go after Daesh. KSA was scared before going in Yemen but success in Yemen has boosted their confidence.

Pakistan favors trade with our friends Saudia a brotherly nation. Also to promote regional harmony via dialog and friendship

I think if we can deescalate the region by negotiation and bringing people to table , all nations have to gain. We need to actively work to reduce the war and suffering thru dialog and discussion channels.

Saudia has been our close trusted ally

The current affairs between certain nations is causing a international rift

In Yemen they have clreared most of area although. Houthis are begging for talks now but Saudis and GCC are refusing to talk

My friend, what else do you expect from western media. This is how they manipulate things otherwise we all would have been seeing the implications of Yemen and as far as can be seen, Saudi's doing well despite a few losses in start and mid but they are going well. The other side of picture is not as same as what westerns try to show.

Rest about Saudi's investment in Pakistan, I must say that they have realized much about Pakistan or it may be a desire for favor which can be attained only when people sees Saudi's investing and that's what be told by NS to them. However, the real question could be what in return of those investments? Hopefully, this time things aren't depending upon personal benefits or greed but for real good and betterment of region and Islamic world.

What success? From what is happening, KSA has been forced to go the negotiation route, when their original plan was to crush the Houthis and put Hadi back in power.

It's a bait for pulling Pakistan into Saudi-led coalition. Don't fall for it. Otherwise it will be another War On Terror fiasco. Besides if Pakistan joins any coalition against Iranians then this may prompt Iran to start a sectarian insurgency inside Pakistan. Pakistan's economy was doing good prior to War On Terror. This exercise can prove to be futile. Staying non-allied is the best option.

Well, the Soodis have invested heavily in Pakistan, esp in the education business (of a particular kind) and also in its political infrastructure. While the Chinese investment is welcome, given that PRC itself is facing a bit of an economic downturn, it may be worthwhile for Pakistan to seek investments from others, incl KSA.

Talks have begun because Houthis begged for talks not Saudis or GCC so either Houthis will accept Saudis demand or would again get beaten up. As for crushing them 25 Million is Yemeni population out of which 10 million are Houthis and 15 million are Sunnis. So no body plans to kill all Houthis. From day one main plan was to get back Aden so Oil supplying ships movement won't get disturbed
