I stayed in Dubai for long. Used to stay at Bur Dubai hotel Appartment with family ( Pearl Residence).

there was already a Hindu temple there. We celebrated Durga Puja, Diwali there. People used to do Idol worshiping there.

In Diwali near my Hotel all buildings were decorated with light. Its like Mumbai/Delhi/Calcutta. There was a field in front of my hotel which was designated place for fire crackers. People used to come in Car and enjoyed with the kids there. I used to see it from my Hotel balcony. I will post some picture at night.

Mandir in Dubai is nothing new as it is being advertised. But same is not true in Abu Dhabi. Culture is different there.

Now when is India going to learn tolerance and rebuild Babri Mosque?

I don't think it will be rebuilt since it has been well established that whoever built this mosque did so after demolishing a Hindu temple that already was there. What may happen is that the grounds in the are may be divided up and portion used to build a mosque and the rest restored for Sri Rama Temple. I recall reading that the local community leaders on both sides have agreed to this approach, so not sure how long it will take for the rest of the nation to buy into it.

‘Bangistan’ will not release in UAE
Distributors said the Riteish Deshmukh film ‘hurts Muslim sentiments’
Bangistan, starring Riteish Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat and Jacqueline Fernandez, will not release in the UAE, distributors for the film have toldtabloid!.

Ramesh Jashnani, of Al Nisr Cinema Film, the UAE distributors for the Karan Anshuman directed film, said Bangistan was found to be “hurting Muslim sentiments”.

Bangistan is a comedy about two blundering terrorists on a mission to change the world. Suicide bombers Hafeez Bin Ali/Ishwarchand Sharma (Deshmukh) and Allah Rakha Khan/Praveen Chaturvedi (Samrat) are sent on an explosive mission but realise that it’s foolish to die and kill other people.

Last month, Pakistan banned the film. Co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani then approached the Pakistan High Commission to clarify that the film was not “anti-Pakistan” but merely a comedy and not to judge the film by the trailer alone.

The film was slated for release in the UAE on July 30 but had been moved back by a week.

"Over 4,000 Shia Muslims have been deported from United Arab Emirates and forced to leave everything in United Arab Emirates.

The Shia immigrants were told to leave the UAE as soon as possible within 24 hours without any reason, even some of them were living since 20 years in the UAE.

The deported imigrants are including Pakistain, Iraqi, Syrian and Lebanese Shia Muslims. The UAE government has been started the forced deportation of Shia immigrants four years ago, when the Abu-Dhabi state has expelled the thousands of Shiite Muslims belongs from Parachinar, Punjab and Sindh province.

The United Arab Emirates has expelled long-term Lebanese Shiite residents from the country over their presumed affiliation with Hezbollah.

On security grounds all these were force to evacuate their property within hours, one of the immigrant informed the Shite News.

The residence permits were also cancelled for no apparent reason.

Last year Khoja Shia madrassa closed down, Shia mosque activities restricted, World Federation meeting on 19th May 2012 shifted to Dar al Salam after government refusal to host it in Dubai.

Since 2009 hundreds of Shia have been deported from UAE, while in April 2012 in a wave of deportations of Lebanese nationals 9 immigrants were deported and banned to enter in UAE.

The current deportations of Shia Muslims this year have also made them banned to enter in UAE due to security concerns.

They have not committed any crime and they were not in the habit of discussing politics, but they were practical Shias.

Though, the UAE government has deported thousands of Pakistani from the kingdom without any reason but the incompetent government of Zardari regime has not taken any serious notice of the forced deportation of Pakistani immigrants, a major resource of Pakistan revenue.

It’s the time that Pakistani Shiite leadership should raise the issue of the force deportation of the Pakistani Shiite Muslims from UAE and pressurized the UAE kingdom not reverse its biased decision."

I have nothing against them (Arabs) for deporting them, since it's their own country, and they have the right to deport whoever they want, but this article (posted by Op) is a complete bullshit.
