So Pakistan is going to grow into a developed civilized country by being a mango economy? I don't think so. Agriculture, textiles and donkey harvesting can only get you so far.

Even China is investing in plants in India to locally manufacture products, creating jobs and increasing knowledge.

What is Pakistan doing? Where are initiatives to increase manufacturing? I don't see anything happening apart from roads being built.

The problem is that you have not allowed your industries to grow as you have been overly dependent on China and the US of A.

Honestly, for all of India's push - the "make in India" thing is a great slogan but there has not been anything tangible achieved so far. And the biggest problem of course remains corruption at every level - from municipal corporation employees to corporate slaves - everyone wants a kickback. Unless this goes and 24x7 electric supply is there all over the country - mere sloganeering is not going to achieve much.

Just imagine ..Pakistan does not manufacture AC compressors and imports from Poland & others.

The FTA with China was the Death warrant of Make in Pakistan.
But why would pakistanis want to copy a Chai waala "terrorist" in the first place?

I thought CPEC was going to solve all your problems in one swoop.
It will, but you'll have to wait for at least 10 years! By then the world would have moved on!

I thought CPEC was going to solve all your problems in one swoop.
I want to understand CPEC,is it funded by China or is it paid by both or will Pakistan pay for it

I thought CPEC was going to solve all your problems in one swoop.
That is for Naali se dollar only
i.e. Money down the drain

Pakistan has surrendered its industry to China. In CPEC only Chinese workers are going to be employed as is China's modus operandi worldwide. Pakistan is basically like a Dhaba. Its only importance is that it helps connect other important areas. (1st Afghanistan, now Xinjiang)

CPEC is the magic word which will transform Pakistan...where the hell is our own CIEC or whatever?

Pakistan has surrendered its industry to China. In CPEC only Chinese workers
CPEC is under construction and Pakistani worker are working on it. If you don't have any evidence to back your claim, please don't post. Pakistani workers are working on it, not Chinese. Mostly Chinese available are there for over looking the project, providing help in other fields. Other than that Pakistani workers are working on it.
