And I believe China is still the biggest buyer of Iraqi oil.

One of my Pakistani friend also has a hotel for pilgrims in a holy city and is running good.

It is really massive on arbaeen in Karbala. >15 million people on arbaeen from all around the world and increasing every year.

Last Arbaeen my brother with his family traveled on foot from najaf to karbala. it took 3 days on foot but remain fresh. he met sunnis too who serve people and visit karbala on arbaeen. It is very spiritual and loving to visit the shrine of Grandson of Holy Prophet pbuh.

No doubt china has an opportunity but it has to be active to compete in Iraq as everyone is eyeing Iraq for oil.

Iraq may prefer Chinese firms over the usa companies as Iraq is not like saudi+kuwait. usa presence will make tough for chinese if they are not pro-active in Iraq.

the majority of Venezuela oil is unconventional heavy oil and the government and state oil company is dysfunctional so I wouldn't even consider those reserves as worlds best.


Middle East still remains supreme and dictate the price.

Iraq would be prospering by now if not for the insurrection of Al-Qaeda.
