While it is understandable that every news channel depends on the revenue that it generates through advertisements, it is quite disconcerting to see a plethora of adverts that PTV Sports runs during the Cricket World Cup matches as soon it finds even the tiniest of halts in play.

The channel needs to understand that it is okay to run TVCs when the bowler ends an over, but it is not right to show a series of adverts when an umpire’s decision is being reviewed by the players in the middle.

For example, in the Pakistan-South Africa match, when the umpire gave Wahab Riaz out (LBW), instead of waiting for the decision to be reviewed, what the viewers got to see were a great many TVCs and when the match was shown again live, Sohail Khan was already at the crease. No more comments.

This is so annoying, what is the logic behind this. This is why i hate PTV so much, last ball of the over and they are in such a hurry for a break.Once i guess it was Pakistan vs South Africa series ,Afridi hit a six on the last ball of the over and it was a big one,was expecting to see small highlights they show, and they jumped on to break.Biggest reason i hate PTV so much, post match analysis show they have 'Game on hai' is quite decent with good analysts but their ads are so huge.Your thoughts, @Green Arrow ,@Color_Less_Sky ,@Menace2Society ,@DESERT FIGHTER ,@Pomegranate ,@Devil Soul ,@Akheilos ,@KURUMAYA ,@HttpError ,@Jazzbot @Dr. Stranglove ..........

Poorly constructed show with no real contact with Pakistani players or pieces on them.

Adverts at every opportunity to kill the mood even further.

Overall just very substandard from a supposed national broadcaster.

It is amateurish.

It's quite funny they have got all the piece, what remains to be done is who will complete the puzzle.Well said, very amateurish.

watch live streaming of Star sports

much better and problem solved

Its almost the same for every channel these days, and their sports channels are no exception.

I do get angry like anyone else here when they skip the important details of match for their ad breaks.

And "Game on hai" never attracted me mainly because of the hosts, guests are fine but hosts..............
