Erdogan welcomes Abbas in Ottoman Empire style ceremony

So are these guys conducting ceremonial duties as say the Guards would do in the UK or is this like a one off event?
Its entirely ceremonial.

So is there a particular regiment or group in the Turk Armed Forces that fulfills this ceremonial role?

Yes there are historical units in Turkish army, also a band with Ottoman Mehter songs (they existed before AKP in case anyone assumes things).

I guess those who support the Ottoman empire don't know how much we Arabs ( specially in the Levant) suffered from the Ottomans...

Why don't you produce the evidence of your so-called suffering instead of whining about it?

You learn from history to correct your future.
learn from history and muslims ?

Man I love the Ottoman empire. During Suleiman the Magnificient's time, even Mughal Emperor Hamayun recognized him as his superior. And Turks have always been the spiritual leaders of us Ajmis.

And must say, a great display.

I'm not familiar with this term, what is an Ajmi?

The new costumes were also present at Aliyev's visit.

Military Band was playing "Resurrection" song at the beginning.....interesting.

Arab term for non-Arab muslims. Basically, Ajmis are considered inferior in the Arab world.

They are one of the oldest civilization of the world and even older then Persian civilization. There civilization started 10000 BC back

Prehistory of Anatolia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Turks can claim Turkish history clear back to the Gokturks, but they can't claim prehistory of Anatolia they are invaders. Turks are from the areas of Central Asia and Mongolia.

He scored a point from me for inviting Attila the Hun too

I think he understood that EU is not going to accept Turkey so he went ape sh1t.

Atilla was biggest enemy of Europe and China. They still quiver when they hear the word Atilla.

Atilla's parents were chased out of China long before he was born, and he looked nothing like you.

True. We are not related with the ancient Anatolians.

You are. You are 90% genetically similar. But your people got conquered by a tiny number of "Mongoloid" true-Turks and they left their seed in your Anatolian ancestors, and wiped out their language.
