Petrol shortage in Punjab irks motorists, passengers
Petrol shortage in Punjab irks motorists, passengers

ISLAMABAD/LAHORE -
Over the last two days, motorists and passengers are facing problems due to shortage of petrol across Punjab at the gas stations forcing them to stand in long queues, repeating the scenes of rush at CNG stations.

The authorities of PSO and Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources have failed to sort out the fuel shortage and no explanation is coming from them. According to sources, the problem worsened due to the reduced oil imports, whereas fog has also increased the fuel crisis as vehicles carrying fuel have to face difficulty in petrol transportation to pumps at night. Most of the petrol pumps are closed and those opened have long queues of cars and motorcycles. This situation has disrupted the routine life of citizens.

As per sources, a ship carrying imported fuel will dock the port today after which the fuel supply is likely to be improved. In Rawalpindi and Islamabad the situation is more worrisome. Petrol is available at PSO pumps but the long queues have made the motorists jittery. Several people were seen complaining about the attitude of the government towards their problems. They said that most of their precious time is passed while standing in queues. They said at this point of time when the oil prices have come down by almost 50 per cent why this shortage is being created.

After suffereing from no electricity, after getting no gas, here we go with no petrol?
but what our politicians are doing for us?
surly, thats a point where peoples of pakistan should say , go damocrazy go?
cause its been proven by our all politicians ?
that damocrazy doesnt care the common men , & for the poor peoples of pakistan .
its look like a revenge.
smell like a revenge.
Feel like a revenge.
organised by the judicial & political leadership on them.
not a single political leader said a single word, about where petrol went?
it shows how much they care about the peoples of pakistan.
shame on that filthy , Damocrazy & it must end by now.

The poor grammar is only made worse by the large font size, bold and red.

Democrazy is whatever you make it, what do you propose in it's place? Asking you seriously another time, feels like a stupid idea. I'm probably going to get some nonsensical, barely readable reply about nothing and everything.

Seriously what ever became of the humble "Tonga", it was my favorite way to travel, especially when visiting Mianwali.

Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning,
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

I miss the simple things that I had the joy of experiencing growing up, it's a shame our children will never see the innocence and beauty of Pakistan as we did from the lens of our eyes.

now seriously, are you the dam graduate from oxford?
there are nations on this earth who achived progress without bieng the mental slave of the forces who occupied them for centuries?
peoples like you represents the mindset of those who were cleaning toilets for gora shahi later bieng described the kaley baboos?
hope thats get through well, without of bieng ungrammatical?
thats how we as a nation put under in a stupid governing system called damocrazy?
cause its what the stupid, overeducated minority wants to rule on poor patriotic majority.

Sooner or later they have to give the answers!

As a German colleague who was working with me in Pakistan once said "You have to love the resilience of the Pakistani people", I know what he means now::

Allow me to disagree with that here. Pakistanis are not resilient but brazen i.e. ڈھیٹ

Resilience: The ability of a material to absorb energy when it is deformed elastically, and release that energy upon unloading.

This nation is absorbing energy in the form of insult for 65 years and has been drastically deformed in the process yet not willing to change its condition.
