Apparently the might RAW, ICG, IN were all asleep.

Well we were ill prepared to handle such terrorist attacks on that day, probably that was something the agencies were never expected or were tooo complacent..... That was the time we have realized that the specialized agency is not trained adequately for an urban warfare like this, or rather their training was focused on different scenarios....But luckily things are changing, this incident changed the entire mindset of people in India, It changed the mind set of security agencies and Goi....... Probably that is the good thing one can take out from 26/11

IB did inform Mumbai city of a possible terrorist attack but couldn't guarantee a possible strategy behind it. The then Maha govt was unprepared for it and this happened.

Mumbai returned to its normal routine very quickly after this attack and Mumbaikers are not afraid to pursue their everyday activities because of those animals....

Besides, India has not succumbed to terrorism and has not turned into a failed state without rule of law and its own military fighting large scale offensives within the countrys own borders......

I have no sympathy for terrorists and their apologists, there is no justification for it I say this regardless of religion and nationality.

my feeling for the Mumbai victims is no different to the fire bombed victims of Samjhota express or the ethnic Hazara or the lynched Christians or the nameless and countless Kashmiris killed in fake encounters and dumped in mass graves.

Well, There is no difference between the victims you mentioned..... Their pain cannot be differentiated or compared at any level...... (including that of few fake encounters now counting them wont be a difficult task, and getting in to that subject might divert the topic).....

Well How different 26/11 as a terrorist attack???? Well this act kept the entire nation on ransom for bloody 3 days....... and this was one of those incidents which was telecasted 24/7........ and this is going to be a pain for all Indians because this is one incident which almost killed 200 people........
