ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – American Ambassador Richard Olson on Saturday met Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in Bani Gala where Khan informed Ambassador Olson about where PTI stands regarding rigging in the General Elections 2013.
According to PTI spokesperson Shireen Mazari, this meeting was scheduled upon the request of the Ambassador.
She said that Khan told Ambassador Olson about the party’s standing in the matter of rigging in the elections.
She also said that Ambassador Olson was told that the November 30 rally would be historic and peaceful.
Other matters of mutual political interests were discussed in the meeting, she said.
She further said that the meeting was also attended by senior vice chairman of PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi and American political counselor.
