US, China Vow to Improve Cooperation

Who care about problem still there as long as our core interests are well preserved. China -US are knives throwing at each others in apparence in the ways to please American's puppets but have a secret deal under the table with China, this has been going for over 3 decades.
China throw knife, US shoot China by gun. Thats why CHina is still divided as a cheap chess, TW still under US control :pop:

Cheer to our American friends!

These buggers have no idea what's going under the table between China and the US。

The real nature of relationship between China and the US is beginning to dawn on the Japs(see recent editorials in Japs’ major newspapers)

Yet the monkeys and the baboons still fantasize the day when their sugar daddy the US would come to their recuse politically、economically and militarily。

A bunch of jokers。:rofl::wave:

He also stressed China’s economic and military strength. “The vast Pacific Ocean has ample space to accommodate two great nations,” he said, a comment suggesting that America’s domination of the Asia-Pacific region over the last 60 years will not last.

Looks like China is setting their eyes on the Pacific ocean and not just the SCS.

I view the Diaoyu/Senkakus as different from Paracels, since the US captured Diaoyu from Japan, so it wasn't out of the ordinary for the US to return it to Japan. Over the same period of time that Japan held Diaoyu, China was actively contesting control of Paracels, so it has a much stronger diplomatic case for the Paracels.

I can't speak to the Philippines and fishermen issue, as I am not well informed of the situation. I thought China engaged in exactly the same behavior, though, which would make the Philippines' action more understandable.

In any case, as I was writing in another thread, China should be more proactive in explaining to the American public its position on the issue. Right now, it's easy for Americans to understand the case for supporting Japan, or the Philippines, or whomever: they will offer us an alliance, and possibly bases. China will never offer the US an alliance--you and other Chinese users have made that clear. It's always easier to be friends with someone that wants to be your friend than someone who wants to be your rival.

That said, I admit that the US could approach the situation with a better diplomatic solution, or at least a more quiet diplomatic solution so as not to push China into a corner through public statements.

Tell us how the US captured Diaoyu Islands from Japan? As there were no japanese soldiers, no inhabitants, no fresh waters...on the islands.

Sure, we are setting our eyes on every places all over the world. Is that anti-US?

That's a mendacious argument, as there are many uninhabited islands in the world that are under clear sovereignty--or does China concede that the Spratly Islands do not belong to it, since they are uninhabited? Japan made legal claim to the island without protest from China from the period of 1895 to 1945, which was enough for the US.

If you'd now "capture" mainland China could you later return SCS to us?

Now that the UN exists, it's not up to the US to resolve these territorial disputes.

SCS is not yours. No one has the right to capture or return

You Viet needs to learn and understand that you cannot challenge a big power without consequence. You are trying to impose your will and strength on us by harassing. We respond. It is that simple.

Again, no dispute at Paracel no matter what you said. It is not a dispute.
No country say Paracel belong to China, so what ever u claim , the world simply dont give a damn :pop:

Exactly! Take a cup of coffee and be relaxed.

We can enrich uranium so we can make nuke bomb in emergency case , we dont need US help. Better China-US relationship will mainly hurt JP-SK, seem like US betray their allies again after VN war.

JP know it, they can not rely on US's protection any more, then they soon will tie up relationship with VN and with the help from Russia, we will keep containing China as usual with or without US :pop:
