Look there is no tradition of wrestling in modern days in the Arab world nor weightlifting while both sports are very popular in Iran. So just because Iran has more medals in those small sports it does not mean that they are stronger than people x or y that do not have any tradition in those "sports" or interest in it.

All of Africa have no tradition in that sport but everyone knows that Africans, as I have written before, are significantly stronger, taller, more athletic and better when it comes to endurance than Iranians and all other people. By that logic Russia must be 10 times stronger since they have 200 more gold medals than Iran in weightlifting. Anyway I can quickly see on that link that tiny Qatar has 4 gold medals while Iran has 18. That tiny Qatar has a population 80 times smaller than Iran. So in terms of gold medals in weighlifting per capita they are much better than Iran and by your compatriots logic must be vastly stronger than Iranians.

While Austria that has 32 gold medals (nearly twice as many as Iran) but a population 10 times smaller than Iran must also be vastly stronger on average.

Those kind of arguments are hilarious.

Let alone Bulgaria that has a population 10 times smaller than Iran but has 74 gold medals. 4 times better than Iran.

In terms of club football Saudi Arabian football clubs have won the AFC Champions League 4 times while Iranian football clubs have only won 3 times.

Nobody cares had other Farsi trolls not made their two daily anti-KSA threads. It's been 5-6 thread this weak ALONE while no Arab has even made any thread about Iran in that time period. I only commented on the "strong nation and weightlifting nonsense" without even mentioning Iran let alone any Arab country. I used the Africans as a prime example which is all correct.

Useless FIFA rankings play no role but actual results and achievements do as stated in my post number 36. KSA alone, one Arab country, has a better football record (by far the most popular sport in the world and in the Arab world BY FAR as you very well know).

No, they are not. Not for any Asian team. Mickey Mouse Cups are some regional tournaments. The AFC is a major tournament for all Asian teams.

Saudi Arabians, both male and female, are taller and since we have a large Afro-Arab community (10% of the population) we are probably more athletic. At least better when it comes to football which is all that matters.

KSA has never taken the Olympics seriously. Women were first allowed to participate 2 years ago otherwise there have been very few participants. Besides the only disciplines Iran win any gold medals in is weightlifting and wrestling. 15 gold medals from a 80 million strong nation in 120 years time that has a much better sport tradition than any other ME country outside of Turkey is not impressing by any means.
